Is there anything cuter than a fluffy kitten? Well sometimes our precious pets aren’t quite as cute and innocent as they might seem. Just ask Lynn Rogers, from Stockport, Greater Manchester, whose gorgeous kitten Jesse accidentally set the family home on fire when she knocked a candle over during the night. Luckily, everyone escaped safely (including Jesse) and the family have forgiven their mischievous little ball of fluff.

We placed Lynn’s story in this week’s Take a Break magazine. Pick up a copy to read all about it and to see some more gorgeous pictures of blue-eyed Jesse.

And Jesse isn’t the only trouble-making pet out there. In April, a farmer's dog caused chaos on a motorway in Lanarkshire when it somehow managed to drive a tractor on to the road, much to the annoyance of rush-hour drivers, who got caught up in major tailbacks.

Thankfully, sheepdog Don and the disgruntled drivers, all escaped injury in the accident on the A74 near Abington in South Lanarkshire.

Like Jesse, and the farmer’s dog, has your pet been causing chaos at home? We’d love to hear more about it.

Or do you just have a funny story about your pet, perhaps you have a parrot that can’t stop swearing or a puppy who loves nothing better than stealing your undies?

And, best of all, if we place your story in a national magazine, we’ll pay you a fee for your time.
